Witness and dashcam footage following serious injury collision in West Moors |

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward following a serious injury collision in West Moors.
Dorset Police received a report at 1.37pm on Friday 23 January 2026 of a collision involving a taxi – a blue Volkswagen Caddy – and a silver Ford B-Max at the junction of Station Road and Denewood Road.
A passenger from the taxi – a woman aged in her 80s – was taken to hospital with injuries that were subsequently confirmed to be serious. Her family has been informed.
Sergeant Mike Burt, of the Serious Collision Investigation Team, said: “We are carrying out a detailed investigation into this collision and I would ask any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please make contact with us.
“I would also make a request to any motorists with dashcam who were in the area around the relevant time to please review their footage for anything that might assist our enquiries.”
